About Us:SamSon Performance, LLC is the result of Sam & Mary Wilson of Sam's Frame & Alignment, and their son, Kevin Wilson, who have been building street rods, drag cars, pro-street cars and all-out drag racing cars for over two generations with real experience and results! This led to the KevinWilsonSBC YouTube channel.
Sam Wilson is well known in the Charleston, SC, area as owner/operator of Sam's Frame and Alignment and he gets it done still at 81 years old. Kevin being his son has commonly been referred to as "Sam's son", so the name "SamSon" was born! My Dad, Sam, has over 65 years of experience building frames from the ground up, engine building, transmissions, rear-ends, and delivering custom alignments with old fashioned, time tested bubble gauges and tape measures. When the computer shops are not sure what to do, Sam sets the camber, caster, and toe-in where it needs to be for optimum performance and tire wear. I have been at my dad's side learning automotive repair & chassis suspension tuning on drag cars for over 45 years. The 1948 Ford Pro Street - 355 Chevy SBC YouTube video on this page is how the 48 Ford Coupe began it's life on the street. Later converted to an all BlownSBC 406 with 871 and Enderle Mechanical methanol injection. Now back on the streets with a SBC 383 and ATM Carb! See slideshow below of Dad's first T-Bucket! |
